Talk Amongst Yourselves...

Hello, Gentle Readers!

My computer ships out Monday to Mississauga (near Toronto) to have its innards replaced.  Meanwhile, I enjoy time at the library and get more work done in the sewdio...

When I can get there, I mean...

You see, yesterday I went to work at The Crafty Lady in Lacombe (my usual Thursday)...and drove into a snow storm that coated the highways with sheets of sheer ice.  After work I couldn't get home...so I stayed overnight there...in the comfortable home of my employer's parents.  Thankful and blessed, thankful and blessed -- that's me.  :-)

As a result, I missed the Purolator pick-up this morning at the outlet in Alix...and hence the shift from a Friday to a Monday shipment.

What am I learning?  Resilience....as eloquently described by Sr. Macrina in THIS post...

And I remember that the day before the storm, I saw one of these...

The Robin is the One
That interrupt the Morn
With hurried — few — express Reports
When March is scarcely on...

'828' - Emily Dickinson

I saw two grackles on the hydro line before the whiteout hit us. Hopefully spring wasn't just the one day! I am deep in the depths of my closet unearthing a few embroidery books. I suspect I sent a few away in the last purge. The good news is I didn't find anything to send away this time. I think I'm finally settling into what I like!
Resilience is indeed an admirable trait! :)
