Too Soon Dark
Alright. Who said it should be dark at 6 a.m. before the end of August?! I am finding these dark, cool mornings entirely too autumnal, and I'm just not ready yet! I've had to have the furnace running, fer Pete's sake. It's far too early in the year for that sort of thing.
However, there is promise of sunshine today, after 4 days of rainy/cloudy/iffy weather, and I am looking forward to it. My garden has been sadly neglected as I have been sorting and shredding for my upcoming move. It's time to get out there and tidy up the plants!
Yesterday I took 6 green g-bags of shredded documents to the paper recycling, and then a trunkful of old paint cans and toxic stuff (paint thinner, insect spray mixes etc) to the firehall to be disposed of. Thirty-odd years of home-making and renovating...
I smell the coffee. More later. Photos? Maybe after the weekend. I'll be up at the New Place to sign final papers on Monday.

I know exactly what you mean about the weather - we took the blanket off the bed last night - and even at 5 am I no longer need to wear a jumper (sweater) or socks. :( summer is coming waayy to soon for my liking
Take a photo of the new place, please. I want to imagine you in it.
As for cool and dark = we're promised a doozy of a winter by Farmer's Almanac - whhich is always right except when it's wrong.
