I'm Ba-a-a-ck...

As last posted, I've been away awhile...literally and figuratively, that is. In May, I took a trip 'home' to Quebec to see family and friends, and to lay to rest the ashes of my Dear Hubby. It was tough, but the weather was beautiful on The Day, and everyone was gentle and loving. May 6 I flew to the UK to visit friends and more family. I spent most of my time in West Scotland, where I saw more shades of green and blue than ever before, and where I communed with God, nature and these fellows...Ah...I could easily live on Mull! The fresh air, brisk breezes, wild rhododendron and irises, craggy hilltops...

I'm still finding that posting to the blog is tough, though. Blogging is so very public, and since H died, my introverted self has been more so. Exposure to large groups (even virtual ones) is definitely a challenge. So. Chin up; shoulders back; deep breath -- GO!

Hugs welcome!
