Pre-Games Prep
Tonight I decided I'd better turn my skein of KPPPM into a ball, and track down the needles I need for my Lacy Scallops Socks -- my 2006 Turino KnitOlympics entry. Well! To my delight, I have discovered that my Dye Code 128, Lot 18 colourway is reflective of the colours in the Olympic Rings -- and in the Official Canadian Team Colours from the Venerable Hudson's Bay Company. I'm hopin' that 16 days from now, this means my tootsies will be sporting HBC LCCs at the Closing Ceremonies.
I have been wondering though...The Opening Ceremonies will be televised in Canada starting at 1 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. This translates to 11 a.m. Mountain Standard Time -- that is, where I live -- and I'll be at work!! Guess I'll have to cast on at lunch break...

Hope you'll post photos of your olympian project. I'm strictly a spectator, but that has its own charms.
