Gone Travelin'

It's not Paris but almost! I'm off this morning for a week in Montreal et environs -- visiting family, and enjoying my 15 minutes of fame as a VIP at the 50th Anniversary of the opening of JRHS -- a highschool named after my father...and opened by my mother in 1955. I even get to make a speech!

I'm totin' my knitting (sleeves for the Natura Cardigan for DH) and some x-stitch (a sampler gift for friends for their upcoming 30th Wedding Anniversary)...plus some books and a good pair of walking shoes. I need to keep up the exercise so that I can enjoy all the home cookin' I'll be having!
