Busy, busy, busy!

I am having fun these days! Knitting on a cardi for my DH, and on li'l caps for newborns at one of our local hospitals, using Schachenmayr Nomotta Piazza that I got on sale at a newish LYS in town, "Knit One, Chat Too"...completely portable and such a delight to work on.

Tomorrow I'm drifting over to Traditional Stitches for J's post-Nashville Needlework Show Open House -- I have a list as long as my arm! I am a "Just Nan" and Jeannette Douglas x-stitch fan, and I'm stocking up! (Hey, I've neglected that stash for too long!) I also have a "Lizzie Kate" piece to do for my DD and her DH for their First Wedding Anniversary on May 1...so am stocking up on the DMC floss required.

Ah, life is good these days...but I am superstitious and dare not speak that too loudly! I am even losing pounds (slowly). My goal is to be down 15 by our Dialysis-at-Sea cruise to Alaska in late July (our 30th wedding anniversary celebration!). I don't need to worry about the bathing suit so much...I just wanna look good in the tee-tops planned for the needles shortly, with some of the goodies I've just bought from Elann. Yes (sigh) I fell off the wagon early on and have been enjoying the packages coming to the door. I'm stacking up, but hey -- do I care?! No! It's all in the interest of Great Knitting!
