Patting m'self on the back...

It's been a good day all 'round, despite the fact that I couldn't access a site I needed at the office to download a couple of important patches. When I got to Curves, I had a great work-out and then did my weekly weigh-in, with trepidation! My weight is stable!! No ups, no downs -- which is saying a great deal after a weekend at the lush and lovely buffet tables at the Banff Springs!

I have started a new KnitAlong project, a 'cranberry bag' -- i.e. my first attempt to knit and felt a bag, out of scratchy ol' cranberry-coloured yarn from my stash. No other use for it, so I really have nothing to lose, whether it works or not! Meanwhile I am making progress on the Tequila Tank -- now only about 1.5 ins. shy of the shoulder shaping on the back.

And tonight I plan to finish the last 2 strips of blocks for my Garden Delight quilt top, followed by some work on my August Saturday Block from Freckle's. It has fewer points this time, so I'm hopeful for success first time out!

Just got my Addie's Fall Newsletter, and was wishing they had fewer of their activities on Saturdays (sigh). Still, there's a "Calgary Sewfest" being advertised for February '04 -- and it runs a Friday as well as Saturday, so I'm already marking the calendar.

Off to quilt...
