Thanks to all my friends who responded to my request for advice re: clips or ties. Velcro (r) was mentioned, as well as hanging sleeves, but due to the construction of the rack -- flat metal panels about 8" deep along the top, and white "enamelled" wire beneath -- well, the logistics weren't pretty. So...it looks like the binder clips are IT. The black bits won't show up against the dark fabric panels, and most of the silver 'handles' can be tucked away. It was suggested I paint the handles to match but...not so much!
This is a temporary display (3 days)...and then the rack goes back into my studio for storage purposes. As I explained to JW in an e-mail, the rack originally came from a fabric store that was closing (the owner retired). Usually, it lives in my studio, festooned with baskets of fabric and yarn that hook onto the wire frame. Along the top, long pegs are clipped on which I hang packets of ribbons, assorted laces and other stuff for embellishing. This is her first foray into the adventure of exhbiting artwork. :-)
P.S. I don't work for Staples Office Supplies, but I shop there a lot!

I love Staples too! How great that you can use the rack from your studio for the exhibit. Please take plenty of photos of your display at the exhibit for those of us too far away to attend.
