Onward and Upward

"Advent" is shipped.  Canada Post.  FedEx Ground just seemed to require too much paper work.  I continue to put my faith in the Canadian Postal System!

Three little bibs, all in a row.  Now delivered to their new home; mother was pleased. I'm glad they turned out well too.

And in the studio...

Yesterday I spent some time with my City & Guilds program, Module 3 -- fabric printing, using sponge stamps and textile paint on some of my hand-dyed fabric.  After a month "off", working on competition pieces, I noticed my creative pump needed some priming.  My first attempts seemed stilted and stodgy.  However, in time the fire began to burn more brightly again.  Photos in "Polishing the Process" later...

In the works now: a series of 3-4 pieces reflecting abandoned buildings; a baby blanket for a friend of my daughter; a cross-stitch sampler for a Silent Auction at the local library; the Harry Potter scarf (now over 4 feet long) and the pondering of a couple of new Calls for Entry that have cropped up in the past couple of weeks...
