Not doin' much...

indoors, anyway. How can I, when the weather is glorious and I have this ............>
in which to sit and while away the day?

This morning, I weeded the grass and wandering maple seedlings out of my front rock garden and out of my juniper beds. Tomorrow: edging the circular beds!

I'm inside for a bit now -- need to do some work at the sewing machine -- but as soon as it cools down (after 3 p.m....), I'll be back out there, hand-stitiching in tow. I am on the last leg of a UFO -- "Spring Morning Sampler", which I took as a 'Cyberclass' online with The Victoria Sampler several years ago now. I'm going to be so pleased when this pretty little piece is finished, and look forward to finding a spot for it in my bedroom, as it's a lovely little feminine sampler, mainly in pink.

Next I think I'll haul out a couple more samplers that have been languishing. I'd like to finish "P is for Princess" -- one of the alphabet series, also from VS, and made in honour of my DD, nicknamed "Princess" by her dad when she was growing up. I have only a couple of bullion roses to do to complete the stitching, and then to add the beads and finishing (hems), and it'll be ready for a bell-pull and a spot on the wall.

After that, perhaps an English paper piecing UFO, and some needle-turn applique that I've been working on only once a month at TAS meetings. I'm telling myself that if I can get these things finished, I can begin something new!
