Dum dum da dum dum, dum de dum de dum...

"In an English Country Garden". As I work with this fabric in my latest (and largest to date) quilt project, the "Garden Delight" (A pattern by Kathleen Bissett, who brought us the popular "Magic Tiles"), I am reminded of the little ditty I learned when I was taking piano lessons as a kid:

Doncha think? :-)

This snippet includes all the strips and my choices for dark to light and back again. This one goes light to dark and back again:

Coincidentally, the project fits in with what I'm learning from Carol Miller in my Quilt U class, "Fast, Fun, Fabulous!". It really is too! I was intimidated by the thought of having the top completed to the point where it will be ready to set 'on point' by Aug. 15, but now I think I can actually do it!

On the knitting front, I am closer to finishing the SCC than ever...just a few more rows and I can do the trim, sew on the button and call it "done"!! As for my Tequila Tank, I am past the lace, onto the bazoom and shaping the armholes for the front! Ah...life is crafty, and life is good!
