A Glorious Day!

'Will & Kate' - May they live together happily ever after

I've been up since 2:45 a.m. watching the joyous celebration of the marriage of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, aka 'Will & Kate'.  The ceremony contained all that is right, true and lovely in a Christian service, as practiced in the Church of England, a tradition in which I grew up and which I love.  I found to my delight that I was able to sing some of the hymns -- and I didn't have to hunt for the words, for they've been implanted in my heart.

The Bishop of London's homily was sincere and warm, focused on the young couple, beatifully reminding us all of what marriage is all about.  I loved the touch at the end -- that the Duke and Duchess had written a prayer to be shared with the world on their day!
