Done Like Dinner!

Well, not really.  Just ready to relax and do nothing from now till Boxing Day.  The gifts are finished and wrapped.  The tree is up and decorated.  The goodies are baked and being apportioned into containers for sharing.  The laundry is in the drier.

I'm going out later this afternoon for a few games of cribbage, a glass (or two!) of wine, some dinner and convivial conversation with 2 dear friends: the perfect cap on a week that's been challenging on a variety of fronts -- from the refusal of my up-dated version of MS Outlook 2007 to co-operate with my existing NON-MicroSoft anti-virus software, to fighting with a pattern that required  asked for double applied i-cord front zipper bands. (I finally gave up and picked up and knit ribbed ones.)

Right now it's clear and sunny; I'm off for a walk to the Post Office to pick up the mail, and to see what I can see.

Your little tree is very sweet! And it must be nice to have everything done so you can relax and enjoy the holiday! I hope you've enjoyed your outing with your friends! Sounds perfect.
