Alberta Arts Days begins September 17th and runs through the 19th. Last year, there were over 570 events held throughout the province -- from dance to fiddling, to painting, to performing. This year, I'm thrilled to be part of it, as I've been invited by the Librarian at the Alix Public Library to demonstrate my artwork and talk about what I do. There'll be two other artists there too -- a beader and a fabric sculptor. The fun starts at 10* a.m. so if you're able, c'mon along!
*My trunk show time is 1 p.m.

Hi, thank you for your comment on my blog re the mohair shawl. The shawl is not difficult as far as lace goes. It is worked from charts and includes yo, k2tog, ssk, and sk2po. It has no dropped sts.
