Knitting Stitching on Ravelry

Fall Biscornu - Sunflower Corner Motif
Ravelry, the knitting managment and forum site, has fora for those who do other crafts too -- like quilting and stitching.  I've joined the stitching forum as a way to keep my hand in, and to keep me accountable to finish WIPs.  This fall, the forum has a swap going on, so I decided to try my hand at a Fall Biscornu, using my own colours and the free pattern from Thea Dueck of The Victoria Sampler.  I've finished the border, and have selected the sunflower motif for each corner.  Right now, I've finished one of these motifs, and am on my way to the second.  I am using mainly cotton floss, most of it hand over-dyed, in a selection of autumn colours from Weeks Dye Works, The Gentle Art and Gloriana Threads, given to me by Jeannette Douglas on her first stitching cruise in January 2009.  Lovley stuff!
