Strangely Satisfying

It seems to me that spring cleaning one's car and exercise have at least one thing in common: we put it off, but once we get out there and begin, it's not as hard as we'd thought, and when we've finished, we feel good. To borrow a phrase from the FlyLady, I 'boogied' my little red Echo yesterday afternoon, as the clouds grumbled over-head, but never fulfilled the promise of rain. I worked quickly, lest they changed their minds, but no. I vacuumed, then dusted and polished, and she's ready to roll! This coming weekend is the Victoria Day long weekend here in Canada, and I'll be off to the lake to my sister's little place on Sunday morning. Roll on, Road Trip!
