Fill the ditches full of snow.
That was one of my mother's favourite sayings (and she had many!), and it's definitely true today -- even if it is the last day of Said Month, and Spring is supposed to skip along in a mere three weeks from now (insert favourite birdsong clip here).
To cheer myself up (and keep warm), I've been cruising the 'net, and reading every word of my e-mails, whereupon I found this pretty little essay. I 'specially envy her, her hubby. Now he's what every needlewoman needs!
