Oy! It's a busy fall...and the days slip by with amazing speed. I continue to knit and walk -- even in our 0C (or less!) mornings -- and as a result have finished two sets of backs and fronts for two hoodies for Christmas. Now -- on to the sleeves! At the same time, I have finished 2 baby blankets (criblet size) and am on the front of a baby's pullover from self-striping yarn (contrasting solid). The latter (blankets and pullover)are for our church charity knitting group. Last night at The Knitting Room (weekly KnitNight) I bought some orange "Young Touch" cotton for the cable-trimmed cardi I found online at -- Knitty.com -- another Christmas prezzie.
Today I spent the day sewing (it's Free Friday) at My Sewing Room...quilted 2 hangings (for keeps), finished the sashing on a top (for my DH) and pinned a child-sized quilt (for Blankets for Canada)...
I am also in the midst of 2 online classes (one in theology, one on writing), and have taken on 2 new clients in my part-time office org business...
So hey -- no wonder I haven't posted for a while!!
This is Canada's Harvest Thanksgiving weekend -- and I have a great deal to be thankful for...including a much planned rest tomorrow through Monday!!
Happy Thanksgiving. I adore that opportunity to pause and look around at the riches that fill up life and just say Thank You, God! thank you thank you thank you!!
I'm quite impressed by your productivity too.
Enjoy your holiday weekend.
