It's the pips

I've been working on a square for a third KR "Healthful Throw" -- again in blue, but a lighter shade this time. I've returned to my new book on afghan squares (Debbie Abrahams' blankets and throws to knit), and picked this cutie: Apple Pips -- very simple and very effective, doncha think?

In the finishing department, I've blocked the Boat Necked Shell for my DD, and am in the midst of finishing a table topper for my first Quilt Challenge -- at
the Fabric Cottage. I've gotta get it there by closing Saturday! EEEK!
As for scarves, I await a ball of Bernat Boa from
Mary Maxim to finish Mom's shoulder scarf, and I'm about 85% through the Eyelash scarf...and as for The Gift That Goes Unnamed...I'm down to the cuffs (elastic) and zipper. Oh for all the energy to do this, plus some cards and cookies!
